Job Description

 

We are looking for a talented individual to join our wealth management team.

 

You will be joining an established investment advisor and help service the existing clientele, while participating in growth opportunities.

 

As an Associate Investment Advisor, you will be expected to:

  • Analyze client portfolios and elaborate recommendations
  • Build portfolio models
  • Confirm & execute trades in client portfolios
  • Perform due diligence analysis on investment mandates and securities
  • Document meeting notes and client priorities
  • Analyze clients’ financial needs, goals and risk sensitivity
  • Assess clients’ financial strengths, weaknesses and their key success factors.
  • Create, implement, and continually review clients’ financial plans that include strategies designed to help them pursue their long-term goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Help achieve client satisfaction and loyalty through excellent wealth management service s.
  • Help coordinate the efforts of accountants, notaries, tax lawyers and other financial professionals in the application of advanced financial planning strategies.

Requirements

 

  • College or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to work under pressure and with deadlines
  • Organized self starter
  • Excellent work ethic and a high level of integrity
  • Bilingual (French and English)
  • Proficient in working with general software, such as Microsoft Office, CRM, cloud/internet based software, etc.
  • Experience and Interest in the financial industry

 

The chosen candidates will be invited for an interview. If selected for the position, they will be required to successfully complete the Canadian Securities Course as well as the Conducts and Practice Handbook course.
